Our dancers were fantastic at the Dancesport Challenge!

The Sports Centre at Homebush had an enthusiastic group of parents and family members watching as Team Haberfield ‘did us proud’!

The dancers looked wonderful thanks to the makeup, hairdressing and costume team. They all danced like professionals and our four competition dancers all made the finals where we were placed first in the Cha Cha, second in the Tango and Jive along with being Salsa finalists! Congratulations to all!

A special thank you to Ms McLennan, Mrs McLennan, Nell, Susan (James and Lilikan’s mother), Mr Douglas, Ms Curteis and the parents.

This vibrant DET Sydney Region dance program featured over 700 students representing 25 government schools. Students from Year 5 participated in 15 weeks of ballroom dance lessons under the tuition of our very own Ms McLennan.  

A huge congratulations to our finalists winners along with all of our superb showcase dancers and of course our parent make-up artists and hair stylists who made this event such a tremendous success.
