Haberfield PS granted funding from Federal Government

It’s official! We have been granted $3 million dollars in Round 3 of the Federal Government Building the Education Revolution funding for renovations to our Assembly Hall and two new classrooms. A special thank you is extended to David Collins-White and Nicole Raven for their wonderful support during the application procedure of this grant.

The Minister for Infrastructure and our local Federal member for Grayndler the Hon. Anthony Albanese formally announced this grant at a special assembly.

 

Pedestrian Bridge Opened!

In other news, the new Pedestrian Bridge over Parramatta Road was formally opened on Friday 28th August The President of the P&C Association Ari Lassere joined Ms Jacobsen and our School Captains and Vice Captains in representing our school at this official opening. The school wishes to extend gratitude to all parents past and present who have worked over many years to see a pedestrian bridge built for our children to access on their way to and from school.
