Haberfield Tigers at the Paul Sironen Sevens
On Wednesday 12th August 2009, our school team, the Haberfield Tigers Rugby League team played in the Paul Sironen’s Sevens competition at Saint Lukes Oval, Concord.
Brilliantly led by captain Ben Stevanovic, the boys won their first four games which qualified them for the semi-finals. In the final game, the Tigers played Five Dock Primary School where they marginally defeated us.
It was a great experience for our boys as most of them had never played league before. Well done all boys!
