Haberfield Tigers at the Paul Sironen Sevens
On Monday 13th September 2010, our school team, the Haberfield Tigers Rugby League team played in the Paul Sironen Sevens competition at Holy Cross College, Ryde.
Brilliantly led by captain Ben Stevanovic, the boys won their first four games which qualified them for the finals. In the final game, our Tigers played St. Charles Catholic School where they marginally defeated us.
It was a great experience for our boys as most of them had never played league before. Well done all boys!
