Haberfield PS staff have really been showcasing their many talents of late. Aside from being skilful educators our staff’s abilities extend from sport, drama and dance!

Ms Conry is a very talented rower who has competed in many events throughout the past few years and her medal collection is forever increasing! Recently she was the Gold medallist at the NSW Rowing Masters Tournament and will compete in the upcoming 2009 World Masters Games from the 10th October right here in Sydney. Ms Conry says the hard training and constant pain of the sport was worth it.

“When you get to that finish line and you know you cannot feel your own shoulders because you have given everything for your team, the feeling is just amazing”, Ms Conry said.

Amongst the staff at Haberfield PS we also have Ms Curteis who has been competing in Triathlon events for sometime now, most recently in the Sydney Half Marathon event through the City centre. Ms Curteis has also completed the Ironman Australia Challenges around various parts of the country!

Not only is Miss McLennan a most passionate dance teacher and instructor at Haberfield PS, but she is a most proficient performer as well. Miss McLennan has auditioned for and been cast very successfully in a number of shows during the past few years including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cats” .

We also have Ms Porter who is a talented Ocean Race Swimmer. Ms Porter trains in our Sydney beaches every day! Wow! We are so very proud of all of our excellent staff at Haberfield PS
