Primary Research Project

Some very inquisitive students from 6C and 5D have recently completed the 2010 Primary Research Project. This project is a premier, cross - curriculum research program for primary schools. The project stimulates interest in a range of subject areas and creates opportunities for fruitful class discussion!!

The program aims to reward the inquiring minds of young students and provides them with a challenge that will stimulate them to develop their research skills. 

The project required students to spend up to a maximum of four hours researching the answers to 40 multiple-choice questions using a range of Atlases/Dictionaries/Encyclopaedias/The Internet and Libraries. 

Overall Haberfield PS received: 4 High Distinctions - Luke A(perfect score), Leon M, Isabelle N, Jasper R / 9 Distinctions - Salil B, William C, Murali C, Romeet G, Jack K, Adele M, Lloyd M, Allen W, Beverley Z and 5 Credits - Alex C, Dominic C, Tsugumi H, Kirstin M, Soroush Z.
