Thrilling Finish to Summer PSSA Season

Congratulations to the Haberfield Public School Senior Girls Softball and Junior Boys Cricket teams who both represented our school in the Western Suburbs PSSA Grand Finals last Friday at Henley Park, Enfield.

Our teams qualified for the Grand Finals after winning through in their respective Semi-Finals, showing great commitment and teamwork.

Our girls showed great skill in holding out the Summer Hill PS opposition in their semi. The boys also played extremely well in their semi against Minor Premiers Croydon PS, fielding extremely well and backing up each of the bowlers.

Both sides battled it out in the Grand Final, with our girls unfortunately going down against a very strong Strathfield North PS side and our boys to Summer Hill PS.

Congratulations to all players for displaying great team spirit and pride towards their school!
